How to prepare for IBPS

Helllo friends ,

My todays post is on preparing for the IBPS.

As you must be aware that the IBPS is an online exam where you are assigned an computer and you have to give your exam on that computer .

The difficult part of this online exam is that you can see one question at a time and unlike the question paper you cannot move to your favorite section without checking all the questions.

Time plays an very important role in online exam .

As the number of questions are more than the total time we have .

So to solve the questions one must be very quick.

Now as per preperation is concerned .
There are five sections in the exam
1. reasoning
2. English
3. Maths
4. Computer
5. General Knowledge

You can find many books in the markets about the banking or IBPS.

Also you can find some online content too .
For General Knowledge preparation you have to check the newspaper daily and most questions will be from the current affairs or current event from all over the world.

For Computer , there is not much need to prepare as the questions will be very simple and one can get 90 % correct answers .

For Maths the practise is very important, Without pratise it would be difficult to solve many questions quickly so start solving the questions

For English you can always look into any of the book with grammer section.
There will be comprehensive passage , similar words, error findings etc .
It is also the easy section

The reasoning is the most important section because you will have to use your intelligence to solve the questions .

Even after practise this section will always be solved with your intelligence,

Here are some tips to clear the exam.

1. Always solve 25 questions from each section first ....as each section as a cut off marks .
2. Solve the complete computer and english section after solving the 25 questions from each section.
3. In your rest over time....solve any of the section in which you are most comfortable.

By following this you will be able to clear your IBPS exam .

6. Prepare well for the exam .

So , follow all these steps to fill the form .
Similarly you will have to download the call letter for afcat from the same link by opening the link and login .

What is SSB all about

Hello to all

My Todays article is on the topic " What SSB is all about " .

Well , as you must be aware that India is having so many neighbours country whose policies are not as it appears to be .

Since after the independence we have faced many wars and many soldiers led their life to defend the nation .

There is an belief that good leaders or officers plays an important role .

So to choose these good officers from the group of people SSB plays an important role.

Our personality speaks about us .
So SSB is mainly focused on checking
1. What we think
2. What we say
and
3. What we do

There are people who think good, talk good , but when it comes on doing good things , they fail to do so.
also, there are people who think good, and they do good things ,but they dont talk or say good
and , there are people who do and tak good , but there thinking is not good .

well these were the people who gets rejected from the SSB.

As the Indian defence force requires the candidates who think good, who talk good and who do good, and SSB is an way to choose these candidates .

SSB screening what to do and what not to do and how to do

If you are new for the ssb than you should see some other blog before continuing reading this post as i am telling what an screening is .

Okay now what you have to do in screening is be very very very active and speedy while solving the problems . MAximum problems have to be solved in intelligence test .

One can solve complete set in the given time. Trust me I have solved each and every problem while i appeared for the ssb and when i can you can too solve them.

Well intelligence test was not the important one.

The most important is picture perception and description test .

What you have to do in picture perception?

First of all for getting selected your story should be positive .
Choose the central character as male always even if its the female in the picture
DO something in your story ...I mean the character should appear if he is doing something in his story .
Make your character a big man...for example make him school captain , make him doctor , a person who is doing social service , make him political leader , army officer etc etc ......

dont make the begger , poor etc etc .

Because that character somehow denotes you .

DONT MAKE EVERY story on ARMY etc , it gives an negative impaact.

Be careful with the time..remember you only have 4 minutes to write the story

Now comes the most important part and that is narration and discussion.

the things that are neccessary in here are
1. Narrate confidently, do narrate what you have written in the paper, dont go beyond that .or add much in that.

2. As soon as the last person finishes narration , the disscussion starts......try to be the first to speak as many people will start at the same time and some wlll become calm .... so you keep on speak till every one calm.

Now what to speak

You can start the conversation by sayig " comeon friends lets prepare an skelleton structure of the story, lets decide the common things like age ,gender, mood first of all"

then the theme and so on .

speak atleast 2 times in the GD , give the smile ...and guess what you are "IN"

SSB Preperation

There are many websites which provide the information about the ssb .

but while preparing for the ssb i found these sites are lacking in some very cmmon things.

I came to know that these sites are helpful in providing the knowledge of what an ssb is and how can we perform in it

but ,

Each thing has 3 sides .
1. HOW
2. WHAT
3. WHY

all the sites are providing the info about what to do and what not to do in ssb but none of them are talking about the how to do that .

So realising the demand I will be publishing some articles on HOW to do the things in SSB .
That will really be a real time based experience .

Online exam vs Offline exam

My post is regarding the difference between the online exam and the offline exams.

First of all I would like to tell about both of these exam.

Offline exams are those exam in which you are provided with the sheet of paper and question paper and you mark the answers by pencil by filling the required oval of that particular question .

whereas the Online exam are those exams in which you are given a computer and question appears on that computer and you have to use the mouse or anyother similar device to mark the question and no seperate paper is given for marking the answer.

Things that should be taken care while going for any online exam.

1.Always carry an pen ,pencil with you even if its an online exam.

2.Check the muse ,keyboard and monitor of the computer before starting up the exam and in case any of the device is not working properly ,tell the authorities immediately.

3.Dont ever click on any of the button without knowing the result it will give upon clicking on them.

4.Take your time while giveing the exam and do as per the instructions are given to you .

How to qualify for any government exam ?

Let me share some of my experience with you regarding the examination.

The first and the most important thing is Time management .If you can manage your time in exam you can easily qualify that exam .

Let me give you an example which I have faced during the exams.

During the SSC CGL exam ,I didn't cared for time and I wasted nearly all my time in solving such questions which were too difficult and time consuming .

So please avoid solving the questions which takes too much of the time .

How to appear for the exam which has per section cut off marks .

Okay ,If any exam has per section cut off marks like in IBPS , IBPS has a cut off of 19 marks in each section ,so let me give you some very useful tips on how to attempt that exam.

As we know IBPS has 5 sections of 50 marks each and we have to get the qualifying marks in each section that is we have to get atleast 19 marks in each section to qualify.

So,while appearing this first of all solve only 20 questions in first section of which you are sure are correct .
Then go for other section and solve only 20 qusedtions of that section and then move to next section .
("PLEASE DON'T START SOLVING ALL THE QUESTIONS, ONCE YOU HAVE SOLVED 20 QUESTION MOVE TO OTHER SECTION")

As time is very limited only solve the 20 or +2 or +3 questions only ,and once you have answered atleast 20 questions of all the sections now move to the easiest section and start solving all the questions and proceed to other sections in the same manner . Hence now you have obtained the qualifying marks in each section and also you will be getting more marks to be in the competition ..


Hope these tips will work for you to obtain the good marks in your exam as these have really worked for me .
