How to get job in Indian Defense ie ARMY,AIRFORCE,NAVY?

Today the defense has became an very high preferable sector for jobs in India .
Its a dream for every youth to join Indian defense system.

But to join the Indian defense , whether it is army ,navy or air force the candidates have to go through the five day SSB activities and Interview.

It is believed that it is one of the difficult process in getting selected for the defense but I assure you with proper preparation anyone could crack SSB and serve the nation with pride and honor.

Every year , There are many ways by which candidates are selected .
I would be giving the details on them

1. Selection through NDA(National Defense Academy).
2. Selection through CDS(Combined Defense Service ).
3. Technical Entry
4. Direct Entry
Etc, Etc

Let me explain each of them one by one.

1. NDA - The National Defense Academy conducts the all India level examination , these are basically for the candidates who are in school ,that is anyone in 11th or 12th standard can apply for this with in the proper age limit.

2. CDS -Combined Defense Service is the exam conducted by the UPSC for graduate level .
from CDS anyone can join Army ,Air force and Navy. Candidates who qualifies the CDS exam are called for SSB interview. To get selected they has to qualify in SSB too.

3. Technical Entry- For technical entry the candidates have to send there marks cards ,degree to the Office when the advertise for it. The short list is generated mainly on the basis of the Cut off marks defined by the authorities . The short listed candidates are then called for the SSB. After Clearing the SSB they are selected.

4. Direct Entry- It is similar as the technical entry ,But anyone from any degree can apply through it.
Here too short list is generated on the basis of cut off marks and the short listed candidates are called for the SSB .

So , These are the various process from which the candidates can apply for Indian Defense system .
